THE east end
The East End of the Island encompasses several subdivisions on Bay and Beachside as well as the 300 Ocean Mile Townhomes and lastly the State Park and Campground. There are no public beach areas on the East End. Properties in this area have dedicated access points for their guests. The State Park charges an entrance fee and has regular posted hours of operation but does have public areas at the pavilions for travelers to enjoy.
Featuring an amazing view from behind the protective dune line, this cozy beach cottage boasts a King Master with Ensuite facing the sugar sand beach, a second bedroom containing a double bed with a set of twin bunks and a third bedroom with King bed which faces the Bay side of the island. A second bath is located in the hall adjacent. The large kitchen and living area combine with the dining room and the spacious deck beyond all combine to create a warm family environment filled with only the best beach memories. Below deck a concrete patio area with comfortable seating as well as a hammock provide a relaxing spot to read your favorite book or take a walk through the driftwood garden on the way to the beach for that sunset walk to end the perfect day….
Included for all guests staying at the Great Eskape are linen service for 7, beach towels, liquid hand soap, body wash, initial supplies of toilet paper for each bathroom. In the well stocked kitchen, you’ll find anything you can think of to provide meals to your group of beach goers - a Brita Water system, Keurig and traditional drip style coffee maker, initial supply of paper goods, both liquid and automatic dish washer detergent as well as dish towels and sponge.
Outdoor Amenties include beach gear provided by VayKay, a fish cleaning station, hot and cold outside shower, weber charcoal grill (charcoal and starter not included), dedicated beach access and even private bay access just a mile East of TGE which has a fishing pier with running water and even lights for night fishing. The property is also gated to allow safe storage of your boat and for privacy while using!
